Security Engineer

Role Overview

Protect FinXPay's platform and users by implementing comprehensive security measures, conducting security assessments, and ensuring our Web3 payment infrastructure meets the highest security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture for Web3 payment systems
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
• Monitor security threats and implement protective measures
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure coding practices
• Manage security tools and infrastructure for threat detection and prevention
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees
• Stay current with emerging security threats and blockchain-specific vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on financial services or fintech
• Strong knowledge of blockchain security, smart contract auditing, and Web3 vulnerabilities
• Experience with security frameworks, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment
• Understanding of cryptographic principles and secure key management
• Knowledge of compliance requirements (SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001)
• Experience with security tools and SIEM platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cryptocurrency exchanges or DeFi protocols
• Knowledge of smart contract security and audit processes
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for financial services
• Bug bounty or responsible disclosure experience
