Data Engineer - Blockchain Analytics

Role Overview

Build robust data infrastructure to analyze blockchain transactions, monitor platform performance, and provide insights that drive business decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines for blockchain transaction processing and analysis
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple blockchain networks
• Create data models and analytics frameworks for transaction monitoring and compliance
• Build real-time monitoring systems for fraud detection and risk management
• Collaborate with data scientists to implement machine learning models
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of analytics systems
• Create dashboards and reporting tools for business stakeholders
• Optimize data storage and processing for large-scale blockchain data

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience with large-scale data processing
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka)
• Experience with blockchain data analysis and cryptocurrency transaction processing
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Understanding of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse)
• Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data quality
• Understanding of financial data and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time streaming data and event processing
• Knowledge of machine learning and data science techniques
• Previous experience in fintech or financial services
• Understanding of AML/compliance data requirements
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
